Ulna, la première poignée de porte ergonomique et anticontamination au service de la santé publique

 Between August 2005 and December 2007, the whole staff of the Infectious and Tropical deseases department (SMIT)from the Hospital  C.H.I of Poissy/Saint-Germain-in-Lay took an active part in the development of the Ulna system, under the authority of Dr. J.C. SÉGUIER in charge of  the unit of hygiene and President of the CLIN ( French organisation that fights against nosocomial infections) and Dr. Yves WEKLER, Direction of the SMIT. 

 It's only 'on site' and with the requirements of users that a concept become a usefool tool. 

 The installation of Ulna in the Infectious deseases Department enabled us to optimize the shape and ergonomy of the system and to develop new options for extra confort (adjustment of the height and the lock bolt). The satisfaction studies made in this service showed that Ulna system was responding to the needs mentioned by the staff and that the good utilisation rate was more than 80%
